In these days, car makers are making efforts to reduce the ozone layer with electric cars that produce zero emissions. If you think about it, a race car produces a lot of emissions and despite being funny for us, it's not funny for the environment. So that's why we are seeing electric race cars increasing.
Take for example this Mitsubishi i-Miev Evolution.
This i-Miev was presented with a carbon body and AWD for this Year's Pikes Peak hill climb. It will be fitted with a 35 kWh battery pack and three electric motors. One for the front wheels and the remaining two for the rear wheels providing an amazing total of 320hp. The company says that it will have some components from the original i-Miev. Just for the knowledge, the production i-Miev has a 66hp motor for the rear wheels and a 16 kWh battery.
